THE PROCESS OF WORKING WITH ME
I'm here to listen, understand, and bring your vision to life.
1. LISTEN
This is the most important part of the process, listening to you and taking the brief.
I like to hear about your business, your challenges. What you want to communicate, who your audience is and what do they like. Most important one of all, what do you not want to see. From experience the client might not know what they want until they see it but they always have a clear picture of what they dont like.
2. RESEARCH
Next is for me to do research your product and sector to gain knowledge and understanding. Then look at your competitors and what other stuff exists already. Also looking at current trends and ways to communicate in your sector most effectively, including social and print media. I would also research the best way to present the final outcome be that online or in print format.
3. DESIGN
This is when the fun starts. A blank page and ideas can flow. This process can be different for each brief, depending on it's scope but I always like to give you multiple design solutions to choose from.
4. REFINE
After seeing the design options, often bits of different ones, answer the brief. This is where we would discuss them and work out what is being taken further for amending to answer the brief the best. This part can often be a little bit of back and fourth to get it perfect.
5. FINISHING
It's all in the detail. Whether it's web banners that need exporting to the correct size and dpi for your website or a print job that needs artworking for print.Then final approval being signed off by you before it goes to print or live on the web.
6. EVALUATE
I love to know how a project has gone. How it landed with your customers, the numbers of leads of clicks, the good and bad parts. So we can work on making it even better next time. Also if theres anything I could have done to make it a better process for you. I believe in offering a personal service from start to end, so seeing how it's gone is part of that.
